ISABELLE
Etcetera Theatre, London
November 2023
We set out on a journey with Isabelle, a young woman recounting her life between Berwick-upon-Tweed and the German Black Forest during the period of the first Great Famine.
Seamlessly combining history with fairy tale, this harrowing piece dives into the deep end, as she takes us on a journey through life & death, making us question our preconceptions of good and evil.
A one-woman show depicting prejudice, motherhood and revenge through physical theatre and text.
Written and performed by Irene Possetto
Directed by Marguerite Vermersch
Music by Valentino Mosser
